This page will have info on good room rates and specials here in Las Vegas as well as an inside guide on what's worth your time and money and what to stay away from. We want to make it as easy as possible for friends and family to come visit us. We have a guest room that's always available and a comfy couch too.

The main thing that can mess with room rates (which are ALWAYS higher on the weekends) is a convention being in town. Here's a list of conventions coming to town for the next few months. Convention List
About Hotel rooms: While travel sites like expedia.com and travelocity.com are great for airfare and sometimes packages, they rarely have the best deals for Las Vegas Hotel rooms. There are tons of "Guaranteed Best Rate" sites out there too. Don't you believe it. Your best bet is almost always to hit the actual website of the hotel. They usually have "internet specials" or seasonal specials listed. The specials have to specifically asked for, the reservationists won't mention them to you. You can usually make your reservations on-line (and sometimes must to get the best price.) The caveat to that is Priceline. I've heard some amazing stories like Treasure Island for $45 a night on weekends through Priceline. I use Priceline all the time, but the thing is, you don't know what hotel you're getting... Give it a shot if you're adventurous.
So here's a list of most of the major hotels in Las Vegas, some on the strip, one downtown, and several just off the strip. Where possible, I've linked the names of the hotels to the non-flash version of their website for faster loading.
