It’s totally awesome as the dad when you feel the baby kick and move. I think I felt Liam kick when Michi was 6 months, and you could really feel him moving at 7 and 8 months.

The experience goes from, “OMG is this happening?” to “OMG this is really happening!”

I had to go look, I wasn’t feeling Skadi at 15 weeks, but haven’t seen a post on my blog for when I did start feeling her. I am thinking it was 18-19 weeks actually.

I was big, too, and I felt the Squish at about 15 weeks. You’re looking for a tickle, low, prolly at the bikini line, and from the INSIDE.

And wait until s/he starts to get the hiccups.

Wait, what? Nauseating flips? The critter moving around is gonna make me wanna barf? Oh great.

Ah well. It’ll be worth it. I can’t wait to see Paul’s face the first time he feels a kick.

I was way way late with feeling Skadi. It was quite disconcerting since “they” say you will feel the second earlier knowing what to look for. It has a lot to do with the baby’s position in your uterus as well. Skadi was facing my back, so any of her wiggling was not aimed at my tummy.

Before you know it you will feel the butterfly movements and then the nauseating flips that make you wonder wth they are doing in there! So very exciting!
